Some milestones in the history of the company
Season five and six
Barbara McNamara starts the agency in Manhattan after 10 years in the industry.

President
Barbara McNamara, CSA (Casting Director, Producer) Ms. McNamara holds several degrees from the Fashion Institute of Technology in Manhattan. After years directing and producing fashion shows and ad campaigns, Barbara switched gears and began her television career casting background and day player actors on the last two seasons of HBO’S Sex and the City. She went on to open her own company in 2005, casting such projects as The Devil Wears Prada and 30 Rock.
Ms. McNamara started principal casting a decade ago with Rob Burnett’s (Worldwide Pants) “We Made This Movie” and most recently cast “Go for Grandma”, starring Amy Madigan and Justine Lupe. Barbara went on to cast many successful miniseries such as Making of the Mob (AMC) and The Food That Built America (History Channel). Current projects in production include a documentary, The Last Witch, the feature film Love, Guilt & Christmas.
Barbara was accepted into the Casting Society of America in 2021. She is Vice President of the Black Bear Film Festival in Milford, Pennsylvania.
